Cook Oranges
ORANGE CAKE
Ingredients:
Base:
- 8 eggs
- 2 orange juice
- scratching of an orange
- 200gr. Sugar
- 1/2 yeast
- 1 tablespoon flour (very full)
Cream filling:
- 3 tablespoons Maicena
- 2 glasses of milk
- 1 piece of lemon rind
- 200gr. Sugar
- 2 egg yolks
Decoration:
- 75 gr. black chocolate to melt
- 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Preparation of base:
Beat eggs, add sugar, yeast, flour, juice, zest, mix and put the oven on a plate with waxed paper until golden (180º).
Preparation of filler:
Heat a glass of milk with lemon rind (do not boil), mixing another glass of milk with sugar, cornstarch, lasyemas and add the above mixture, bring to a boil stirring constantly until thickened. Allow to cool.
Preparation of decoration:
Cut 4 slices of orange and put in a saucepan with 4 tablespoons of sugar over low heat stirring until caramelized. (Candied orange). Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
Mounting:
We take the base of the furnace and with the help of a dry cloth we turn, we expect 5 or 6 minutes, smeared with cream filling and roll up. Decorate with candied orange slices and melted chocolate.
